Hi :) As you already know my name is Laura, but I don't think you know me fully so let me tell you!

How I got into circus - I found an interest in circus during Covid-19 lockdown in 2020. I came across hula hooping as a way of staying active in the sun, however after doing more research on the discipline I was mesmerising. Circus for me completely changed my life and I'm so grateful I came across it. Circus lead me to a career filled with joy, creativity and positive challenges. From hula hooping in my back garden for a bit of fun, to drastically changing my Uni chooses from drama school to circus school where I studied Cyr wheel for three years, I can happily say I made the right choice.
My inspirations - As cheesy as it sounds, I inspire to be the best version of myself, creatively, physically and mentally. I also inspire to incorporate my past passions of surrealism art and physical theatre into my circus. I've was always a expressive and imaginative child, I inspire to never loose these qualities as it keeps my brain ticking in the most magical ways.
My training - 2 years studying drama and musical theatre (College 2017-2019)
2 years studying dance (College 2019-2021)
3 years studying at The National Centre for Circus Arts (BA Uni degree 2021-2024)
